South Korea WC2010 kits set

South Korea, also known as the Tigers of Asia , is recognized as Korea Republic has participated in eight World Cup final tournaments and became the first and only Asian team to reach the semi-finals, doing so when it co-hosted the 2002 FIFA World Cup with Japan. The South Koreans have been drawn in Group B of this summer’s competition, and will be playing Greece, Argentina and Nigeria. South Korean qualified for the knockout stages of the 2010 World Cup with 4 points, winning 2–0 against Greece, losing 4–1 to Argentina and drawing 2–2 with Nigeria. At the knockout stage they met Uruguay. South Korea was eliminated after this 1–2 loss.

The home shirt of South Korea being all red with the stripes of a tiger faded into the fabric. The collar of the shirt is blue, the Nike Swoosh is white, there is the text ‘Korea’ in white on a blue oval at the back of the neck, and a blue design on each sleeve near the hem.

The Korea Republic away has white base colour with a graphic faded into both the front and back of the shirt which is similar to the skin of a tiger. South Korea are nicknamed the Tigers of Asia, and their football federation crest, placed on the left side of the chest, also features a white tiger. There is the text ‘Korea’ on a blue oval at the back of the neck, and a blue detail on each sleeve. The Nike Swoosh is also blue. The complementary shorts will be blue with white side details,
and the socks will be white with a blue Swoosh.
