France Euro 2012 away

France will be wearing a new away shirt in their Euro 2012 campaign in Poland and Ukraine. The new Les Bleus away shirt has a polo-shirt style with a button-up, flapped collar. Classic white body with seven thin, obsidian blue stripes on the cuff of each sleeve to represent the iconic French design of the
Marinière. The shirt’s constructed collar also echoes French style with a long placket and a bonded tape around the edge of the collars.

Nike’s commitment to superior athletic performance and lower environmental impact, the fabric of the new kit’s shorts is made with 100% recycled polyester, while the fabric of the shirts is made with at least 96% recycled polyester.  Each kit is made using an average of 13 recycled plastic bottles. The fabric is also up to 23% lighter than the version four years ago. Embedded with Nike Dri-FIT technology, the kits help to regulate players temperatures on the pitch by removing sweat from the body to keep them dry and cool faster than ever before.  The Nike Swoosh and player number appear on the top right of the body in blue.

Inside the collar text “Nos differences nous unissent” (“Our differences unite us”),
which celebrates France’s diverse population. The away shorts are white with a
tonal print of the Marinière in a panel on each side. The away socks, now with
improved cushioning for greater comfort, movement and protection, are also white.

France Away euro 2012 kits

I'm posted these completed kits tonight....France away Euro 2012 team kits, still by Nike. The new Les Bleus away shirt has a polo-shirt style with a button-up, flapped collar. The base colour of the shirt is white, with touches of blue on the sleeve hems.
The Nike Swoosh and player number appear on the top right of the body in blue. Fabric of the new kit’s shorts is made with 100% recycled polyester, while the fabric of the shirts is made with at least 96% recycled polyester. Each kit is made using an average of 13 recycled plastic bottles. The fabric
is also up to 23% lighter than the version four years ago. Embedded with Nike Dri-FIT technology, the
kits help to regulate players temperatures

on the pitch by removing sweat from the body to keep them dry and cool faster than ever before. Laser-cut ventilation on the shirt promotes localised cooling where athletes need it most to remain focused on the game.A new double knit structure and yarns also makes this kit 20% stronger, with no compromise to fit and feel with natural cotton added for comfort.

France 1982 World Cup qualifying kits

Previously I'm posted France kits was worn at the 1982 World Cup tournament, today I'm adding these France retro collection with the 1981/82 kits been used during the 1982 World Cup qualification. Coach under Michael Hidalgo, these successful 1982 World Cup qualifying campaign kits was worn by player such Michel Platini, Dominique Rocheteau and Jean-Francois Larios.

It was a classic Adidas trefoil ventex in style, a simple wing-collar and a white/red/blue three-stripe design both featured on this France strip. As usual the stripes color follow the national insignia. The home shirt was worn with the white shorts and red socks.

White remained for France away kit, The design basically followed that of the home shirt.
This French kit had so many really nice features; the non-contrasting collar (adorned with
pinstripes), the plunging 70s white inset neck, the dainty adidas logo (minus text) and the
low-slung FFF badge. Add to that the standard French tricolore three-stripe trim and you’ve
got a real gem of a shirt. The design was worn up until the 1982 World Cup finals when the
inset neck was then removed.

France 1982 World Cup kits

During the season under Michael
Hidalgo, France flourished, mainly due
to the accolades of playmaker/captain
Michel Platini, who, alongside Jean Tigana,
Alain Giresse, and Luis Fernández
performance markedly improved and
formed "carré magique" ("Magic Square"),
which would haunt opposing defenses
beginning at the 1982 FIFA World Cup,
where France reached thesemi-finals
losing on penalties to rivals West Germany.
The semi-final match-up is considered one
of the greatest matches in World Cup history and
was marred with controversy.

As a specific detail, these France world cup shirts weren't made by Adidas Ventex France,
featuring the 80s trends pinstripes on both shirt and shorts.

White remained for France away kit,
The design basically followed that of
the home shirt.

The Away kits worn on the Group 4,
first-round match :
1.vs England at Estadio San Mames, Bilbao, June 16, 1982.
2.vs Kuwait at Estadio Jose Zorrilla, Valladolid,
June 21, 1982.
