The Swiss Football League is the name used by Switzerland's professional football league. To mark the new sponsor, ahead of the 2012–13 season, it highest division has changed its name "Raiffeisen Super League" after the banking group Raiffeisen replaced energy company Axpo as its name sponsor.
A construct made of honeycomb honeycomb serves as a visual clamp, with the areas "Swiss Football League" (silver gray), "Raiffeisen Super League" (blue) and "Challenge League" (yellow-orange) appear.
All three logos are based on the same template, a pentagon with a footballer and a football with the Swiss cross. The Swiss cross, which has been formed by two balls and eight lines, now becomes a ball itself; a falling player targets him.
The logo revision has brought out a much more dynamic character compared to its predecessor. Instead of a rounded rectangle, the new logo uses as its basic form a pentagon, as found in the honeycomb structure of footballs. The inclination of the pentagon emphasizes the sporty aspect.
The entire corporate design typeface, including that of the Swiss Football League and the Challenge League, has been newly developed with the Gotham as a typeface.
