Selangor FC New 2020 3rd Kit

This season's new '3rd Kit' version was inspired by Selangor FC's collaboration with singer and songwriter, Altimet who is also a loyal supporter of the Red Giants. Altimet which also featured a special song entitled Langgam Gendang Perang (Red Version). The song has two versions; namely Red and Yellow, inspired by the Club’s and Altimet's work which was later translated into the 'third-kit' of Selangor FC 2022.

Langgam which carries the meaning of poetry or stanza is symbolic to the cheers or voices of the supporters who always roar the stadium in every football match. And, the atmosphere accompanied by drum beats to enliven the spirit of the players on the field is what combined to be the inspiration for the title of the song and this jersey.

The color of this jersey is a mixture of red and black which is also Altimet’s favorite color and also colors that are very synonymous with the Red Giants. Red is a symbol of the vibrant fighting spirit of the players on the field and is also a symbol of the spirit of the supporters who are always there standing behind the team. While the color black symbolizes the power and strength of the team and supporters who are always united in the ups and downs and bittersweetness of a struggle.

The motif on this 'third-kit' is inspired by the echoes of drum beats of the supporters. Meanwhile, another unique touch on this jersey is the Altimet’s emblem which has been specially redesigned to include SFC (Selangor FC) as a new symbol of this collaboration between Selangor FC and Altimet. On the collar of this shirt, a line from the lyrics of the song; 'Jata Atas Baju, Jati Dalam Hati' was also incorporated. Selangor FC also sees this collaboration as a positive step in bringing the Club and supporters closer.

 

Selangor FC 2022 Home & Away Keeper Kits

This is the new Selangor FC goal keeper jersey the 2022 MSL season (Liga Super Malaysia). Made by Joma, the home is light blue shirt and the away in peaches colour.

Selangor finished 5th in the Malaysian Super League in 2021. They last won the league title back in 2010. Shirt sponsors on this Selangor jersey include PKNS and MBI on the front and Sugarbomb on the back.

Selangor FC Special Jersey For Holders Who Give Up The 2020 Season Pass

Selangor FC releases a special jersey for 2020 season pass holders who have registered to release the 2020 season pass. These special jersey is as a sign of appreciation to the holders who gave up the 2020 season pass when the country was hit by the Covid-19 epidemic and caused the Malaysian league football action to be held without supporters entering the stadium.

Only 1,812 2020 season pass holders can own this exclusive jersey and this special jersey design is also inspired by those who have never stopped supporting the Selangor club's struggle according to the Selangor FC Instagram page. Selangor FC Away 2022 Kits

The new season Selangor FC away jersey was launch through the Let's Cope with A Neon Hope campaign in conjunction with World Cancer Day in collaboration with TDC, also joined by the National Cancer Council (MAKNA), National Cancer Society Malaysia (NCSM) and Sunway Medical .

The launch was held at the Sunway Pyramid Convention Center on February 4, 2022 from as early as 2pm to 9pm. This date is World Cancer Day which is officially celebrated annually in over 60 countries around the world to raise awareness about cancer as well as drive its prevention, detection, and treatment.

A variety of exciting activities await you on the day including the launch of the latest Selangor FC 'Away' jersey, the introduction of the SFC 2022 lineup, a question and answer session with Herlison Caion and Hyuri Henrique, a 'Meet & Greet' with all Selangor FC players and a FREE cancer screening in conjunction with the celebration. World Cancer Day.

The 'Away' 2022 jersey this time was inspired by the story of Selangor FC Team Leader, Brendan Gan who successfully fought cancer last July and has now returned to the Red Yellow camp for a training session with his teammates. Selangor FC wants to encourage and raise public awareness of cancer as a whole.

The campaign also aims to further raise awareness about cancer to the public and express support for all cancer fighters across the country. Not to forget also, the campaign also emphasizes and encourages early screening to prevent the disease, as well as giving a message of hope to all that cancer can be overcome and treated. In addition, the Selangor FC management has unanimously contributed a total of RM5 from each sale of the SFC Away kit jersey to MAKNA and also NCSM to help cancer patients who are battling the disease.

The main color of the Away 2022 jersey is 'Teal', combining refreshing blue and green and bringing a sense of renewal, also representing open communication and clarity thinking of the Selangor FC team facing the Malaysian League this new season. The addition of 'Fuchsia' color on this jersey is also very close to the World Cancer Day campaign which means brave, enthusiastic and confident and not afraid to fight which are positive qualities that can be an impetus for cancer fighters to overcome the disease.

This is the new Selangor FC home jersey for the upcoming 2022 MSL season (Liga Super Malaysia). Made by Joma, the new Selangor 2022 kit was officially unveiled through the Selangor Jersey Day 2022 program. The launch was held at the MBPJ Stadium, Kelana Jaya on 16 January 2022 from 8:00 am to 6:30 pm. Various interesting activities were carried out for all the Red Giants supporters who were present to enliven the atmosphere at the stadium later.

The return of red as the main color in the jersey this time with the addition of yellow to mean a symbol of courage, sovereignty, honor, loyalty, pride and success, togetherness through the joys and sorrows of a struggle.

The use of ‘MKLK’, the Merah Kuning Lambang Kebanggaan as the main symbol on the back of the jersey carries a very close meaning to this club. The Merah Kuning Lambang Kebanggaan (MKLK) also a symbol of Pride that is symbolic and a talisman that is very synonymous to the supporters of the Red Giants. Selangor FC 2021 Third Kits On Match

Selangor FC wears with a 'red-out' edition, this jersey design highlights the vintage idea by displaying the classic logo of the Selangor football team, for the first time in history since the club was established.

 

Selangor FC 2021 85 Anni.Edition Kits

Apart from the 3rd jersey, Selangor FC also introduced a special edition jersey to celebrate the 85th anniversary of the Red Giants team in the Malaysian football scene. Among the most important design elements of the edition jersey. This special is the red and yellow sash design of the King of Selangor that adorns the front of the jersey.

More interestingly, this special edition jersey is limited to 1936 pieces only and is sold in a set that also contains exclusive items such as suitcases, clothes hangers engraved with the logo. Selangor FC, a certificate holder with a certificate that has a unique serial number for each piece of jersey. Selangor FC 2021 Third Kits

Introducing the 3rd Red Giants kit for the season. Coming with a 'red-out' edition, this jersey design highlights the vintage idea by displaying the classic logo of the Selangor football team, for the first time in history since the club was established. Apart from introducing the 3rd kit, Selangor FC also launched a special edition kit for the 2021 season digitally on their club's website and all social media platforms. The launch of this jersey is the third jersey launch of the season after the Home and Away jerseys were launched in early February and March last year.

Among the most notable uniqueness of these jerseys is the use of the first ever recorded Selangor football team logo which has a bull head motif (Bos javanicus) and is surrounded by a rice stalk pattern. This logo it has never been used in previous editions of Selangor jerseys.

In contrast to the Home jersey which was inspired as a tribute to the 1986 squad of the late Mokhtar Dahari and the Away jersey which was inspired by futuristic elements, the concept of the 3rd jersey and this special edition was introduced in conjunction with celebrating the 85th anniversary of the Selangor team as a football team in Malaysia. 

For the record, the Selangor football team today was established in 1936 after two football entities, the Selangor Amatuer Football League (SAFL) and the Selangor Football Association (SFA) merged on 22 February 1936, before being branded as the Selangor Football Association (FA Selangor).

Coming with Ferrari red as the main color, this jersey is inspired by the retro design of old football jerseys that often look blank because they don’t have any pattern, don’t display sponsor logos and don’t use different colors.

To create a retro design that looks empty, the logos of the club's strategic partners such as PKNS, Digi, MBI Selangor, ANF and SugarBomb are printed using red to give a 'red out' expression to the jersey. Nevertheless, the yellow color which symbolizes sovereignty is still applied on the collar to complete the traditional color combination of Selangor.

Selangor FC Away Futuristic 2021 Kit

Previously, Selangor FC launched the Home jersey on February 1, 2021. On March 2, Selangor FC also introduced the away jersey for the 2021 season digitally on all their social media platforms.

Comes with a dark blue base color and comes with a neon blue pattern, this jersey is designed by injecting progressive elements and a mix of club identity based on the motifs of each district in Selangor. In terms of color selection, the dark blue color symbolizes the unity of the people of Selangor who are united in giving solid support to the Red Giants team, while the neon blue color is symbolic of the reforms for the future that this team wants to shape.

Appearing with a new breath, the 3D logo of Selangor FC emblazoned on the Away 2021 jersey was also changed to dark blue and neon blue to suit the color and symbolic theme to the club's openness to evolve over time.

Apart from that, this jersey is also matched with the Selangor state map motif which emphasizes the design of 9 districts in the state which is the backbone of this team. The red-yellow color is also printed and clearly embossed on the back of this jersey collar.

More interestingly, this jersey is also equipped with a special QR code where the owner will get access to exclusive content that is not offered to the general public. For starters, buyers of this jersey will be given access to download exclusive wallpapers in conjunction with the launch of this jersey.

In addition, like the Home 2021 jersey, this away jersey is also embedded with a ribbon written "85 Years Creating A Legacy" on the back of the collar, in line with the DNA of the team that wants to continue to produce new talents while creating a 'winning mentality' among players and management. Selangor FC Home Legacy 2021 Kit

Selangor is the first team in the Malaysian League to launch in February 2, a jersey for the 2021 season. 

"Mokhtar Dahari Legacy" became a key element in this year's Home jersey design.It was inspired by the late Mokhtar Dahari who is also known as 'SuperMokh', one of the legendary Selangor legends and is a football icon of Selangor and Malaysia which is famous to this day. Not only symbolic to the legend, but also worked with various other elements that are the pride of Red Yellow.

Made by Joma, Selangor new Home Jersey themed Legacy 85 Years, inspired by the design of the jersey worn by the Selangor team only once, that is, during the Malaysia Cup final in 1986, 'SuperMokh' was the main pillar of the team in lifted the 27th Malaysia Cup title that year.

The special emblem of ‘SuperMokh’ was also immortalized on the back of the Home jersey this season as a token of appreciation to the late Mokhtar Dahari who wore this jersey while lifting the championship lastly with the Selangor team.

This Home 2021 jersey still retains some important elements from the 1986 jersey. Among them is the jersey color where the red, yellow and green colors in this jersey are taken from the King's flag Muda Selangor in honor of DYMM Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Alhaj, Sultan of Selangor who at that time was DYTM Raja Muda Selangor and the number one supporter of the team Selangor.

Although the theme and concept of the Home 2021 jersey is based on retro elements, there are some modern elements that are worked on so that it fits in with the contemporary design. One of the biggest differences in between the 2021 season jersey and the original jersey is a floral motif decoration in the yellow part of the jersey which symbolizes the official flower of the state of Selangor, namely the tanjung flower (mimusops elengi).

In addition, the 2021 edition also has a red and yellow quarterfly flag on the chest and a ribbon written "85 Years Creating A Legacy" embedded on the back of the collar, in conjunction with the 85th anniversary of the establishment of this football team.
