For this month's, I will pay a lot of attention to the Chinese edition font series. Previously PSG 2022-23 Chinese Edition and for today the Juventus Away "Shanghai Limited Edition" shirt typograhy by Adidas to celebrate the pre-season Juventus China’s Tour 2019 in Shanghai, China.
These shirt are unique, because they have been created on the back of only five players’ jerseys. It is the regular 2019/2020 white away kit with names written in Chinese characters with a special artwork carved inside the jersey number which represent the zodiac sign associated with this Juventus star. Only five players were sold and all of them has the Chinese animal related to the player’s year of birth. Cristiano Ronaldo 1985 year of the rat – Miralem Pjanic 1990 year of the horse – Federico Bernardeschi 1994 year of the dog – Adrien Rabiot 1995 year of he pig and Matthijs De Ligt 1999 year of the rabbit. It’s no coincidence as red, which features prominently on this kit, is widely regarded as the most popular color in the country.
