Recently my friend Joaquim shared one of his illustration projects - The set of the SL Benfica 2022-23 kits. It is indeed a work that I should share with other friends.

 

Taça de Portugal Placard 2020 final Shirt

The PLACARD brand, which gives its name to the premier Portuguese football competition since the 2015/2016 edition, will this year add a special color to the stadium benches that will not leave anyone indifferent.

For reasons of health crisis due to Covid 19, the 80th edition of the Portuguese Cup final between SL Benfica and FC Porto, 17,000 personalized jerseys will be placed on the benches of the Coimbra stadium.Half will be blue for FC Porto and the other half will be red for SL Benfica, all with the graphics standards of the Placard Portugal Cup.

Match Details UEFA Europa Final Amsterdam 2013

UEFA Europa League Final 2013 competition match details on the chest for the team SL Benfica and Chelsea at the Amsterdam Arena in Amsterdam, Netherlands, on 15 May 2013. Chelsea of England won 2–1 to secure their first title in this competition. Chelsea were the first UEFA Champions League title holders to play in the following season's UEFA Europa League, after becoming the first Champions League holders to be eliminated in the group stage. With this triumph, they became the first team to win the Champions League followed by the Europa League in successive seasons. 

Font Benfica 1997-99 Team Kits

Portugese club, S.L Benfica font design as was worn from the 1997-98 through 1998-99 season with the Adidas kits. Additional number style for Benfica back shirt comes with the 'adidas' word on the numerical. 

Benfica 2015/16 Away kits

SL.Benfica 2015-2016 wearing a minimalistic, mainly white tonal hoops shirt comes in with a simple v-collar and accents in 'Benfica red'. The sleeve cuffs as well as the 3 stripes and Adidas logo are painted in red, contrasting the white base.

Red shorts and white socks complete the 2015-16 season alternate strip of the thrity-four time Portuguese champions.

SL Benfica 2015/16 Home kits

Fly Emirates becomes the new Benfica Adidas 2015-16 kit sponsor for the first time, featuring a classic look in the team’s famous red base. It uses a ribbed rounded neck collar in white and white 3 Stripes that run down both sleeves. Featuring white flashing is inserted on the sides of the waistline area. The new Águias (Eagles) primary uniform is completed by white shorts and red socks.

Emirates becomes the new Benfica sponsor, as the club announced on May 19. The airline follows on MEO, which was Benfica's sponsor for three years.

New logo Portugal 2015–16 Primeira Liga (also known as Liga NOS for sponsorship reasons) is the 82nd season of the Primeira Liga. Featured also the Liga NOS Sagres sleeve patch was worn on the right sleeves.

Benfica home and away 1967/68 kits

Recently I'm posted SL Benfica 1967-68 away strip, continue with the Home kits. It was based on the basic design as the Away shirt. Benfica on that season was Champion of Portugal 1967-68, European Cup finalist. Additional small Portugal shields was apply on the left sleeve. Notable players: Águas, José Augusto, Coluna, Eusebio, Graça, Nené, Simões, Torres.

As by requested, SL Benfica away white and red strip, Champion of Portugal 1967-68, European Cup finalist. Additional small Portugal shields was apply on the left sleeve. Notable players: Águas, José Augusto, Coluna, Eusebio, Graça, Nené, Simões, Torres.

The 1967–68 European Cup was the 13th European Cup, the final was contested by Benfica of Portugal and Manchester United of England, with Manchester United winning 4–1 after extra time.
