New Zealand national football team kits match wore all white shirt, short and stockings against Spain 14 June and South Africa 17 June. The away kits were worn with all black shirt, short and stockings against Iraq 20 June 2009.

With winning the World Cup 2006, Italy national football team qualified for the Confederations Cup, held in South Africa in June 2009. Italy football team have been drawn with Brazil, USA and Egypt in Pot B of the Confederations Cup. Italy won their opening match, against USA, 3-1, but defeats to Egypt (1-0) and Brazil (3-0) meant that they finished third in the group on goals scored, and were eliminated before the semi-finals.

The 2009 FIFA Confederations Cup is the eighth Confederations Cup, held in South Africa from 14 June to 28 June 2009, as a prelude to the 2010 FIFA World Cup. Previously 2009 FIFA Confederations Cup The draw was held on 22 November 2008 at the Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg.
