Hungary 1981 Home Long Sleeve

Hungary 1981, Home worn by the legendary Sandor Müller on a UEFA Qualifiers game vs Switzerland that the Hungarian side would end up winning 3-0. Hungary would then go on to play the FIFA World Cup.

HOME goalkeeper kits vs England.  This late `70, early `80 Adidas Ventex classic yellow Goalie shirt has a "Text of the players’ names" above the number on the back, with a bigger black collar/sleeve bands and red/white/green/white/red (the distinctive colourway make the country`s flag) sleeve striping.

Worn with black shorts (Manufactured by Uhlsport instead of Adidas, with number 1 on it instead of the number 18) and white socks. The cloth material crest and the black number 18 are machine stitched. Hungary played only once in this shirt. The first ever Hungarian National Football shirt with Players Names on the back.

The cloth material crest is machine stitched. Hungary played only once in this shirt! This shirt was a statement piece as the 500th jubilee of international games, but it was already the 507th. This was also the 120th international match between Hungary and Austria.

The kick off was made by retired footballer József Bozsik "Cucu", a key member of the Hungarian 1950s Golden Team/Mighty Magyars, who went on to win 101 international caps and score 11 goals in his career.
