Bahrain, Gulf Cup 2013 logo patch

With the helped from my friends Andres Miranda and Sean Trowbridge (amazing detailed), finally I can posted these Gulf Cup logo patch.  The 2013 Gulf Cup of Nations was the twenty first edition of the biennial football competition. It took place in Bahrain in 2013. The competition was originally scheduled to be hosted in the city of Basra, Iraq, but was surprisingly moved to Bahrain in October 2011 to ensure that Iraq could suitably host the competition in the 22nd edition. United Arab Emirates was the crown as the champions after beat Iraq 2-1. (Both team kits already been drawn by me).

Oman new Taj kits 2012

The Oman Football Association (OFA) has launched the new official team kit from local brand Taj ( together with a new OFA logo) to be worn by Oman in their forthcoming push for 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil qualification. Currently ranked 86th in the world by FIFA, the Oman national football team or the nickname The Red Warrior also still have a chance at qualifying for the 2014 FIFA World Cup.

The new kit, designed for the Oman national team by Taj, a new Omani-based company, has been created using a unique performance fabric which will give maximum aid to the players on the field especially during the hot season experienced in Oman. The kit has been designed to showcase the colours of the Omani flag and all the profits generated from its sales will be injected into the OFA’s grassroots football programme in Oman.

When the Oman Football Association decided to update the national team jersey, the process began with the development of goals for the new kit, which focused on:

• Creating a look that isboth sharp and iconic
• Representing the Sultanate and its love of football proudly through the design
• Utilizing material technology that provides Oman teams on the pitch with a strategic advantage, especially given the generally warm local climate
• Assuring that revenue from both the making and the sales of the jersey benefits Oman

The OFA team quickly realized their goals were extremely Oman-centric, and that to create a new shirt that achieves them, designers who really understand
Oman were required. This is why the OFA created a new brand, Taj, operated by local professionals.

Meanwhile the new OFA logo has been designed as a fresh representation of the Association’s core values of passion for football, fair play, social responsibility and ambassador of Oman. The logo will be at the forefront of the OFA’s new marketing campaign – Everybody Loves Football - aimed at getting more people playing and watching football across the Sultanate.

Malaysia national 2008/09 team kits

Traditional Yellow and black has been the Malaysia national team's home colour since the '50s. Since Nike took over the sponsorship from adidas in 2006, the Malaysia national football team home design turns to the old skool's yellow and black stripes; the same design used by the national team when they qualified for 1980 Olympic in Moscow.

The new Malaysia National team Nike strip combines the pride of Malaysian Football while reflecting a new era of performance and innovation. Both Home and Away Malaysia national football team shirts made in Indonesia, Showcasing the football association of Malaysia’s tiger crest on the left the jersey incorporates local flavour with the keris featured on the inside bottom left corner. The text 'Malaysia' is printed on the back of the collar Malaysia national team's shirts. The Home shirts will be worn with balack shorts and yellow socks with the the nike logo while the away jersey incorporates a striking blue that illuminates the players on the field will be worn with white short and blue socks. Technology-wise, the kit is constructed in a dynamic fit silhouette that creates greater tightness of the body, allowing maximum movement while reducing shirt pulling by opposition players.
