Slovenia national team forms parts of the UEFA confederation and played their first match in 1992 when the country split from Yugoslavia. They appeared in the 2002 and 2010 World Cups and in the European Championship 2000. They failed to qualify for EURO 2012 to be hosted by Poland and Ukraine after finishing 4th in their qualification group.
Slovenia Home Kits
The shirt supplier of Slovenia is Nike, which has a contract with the team until 2016. Slovenia home shirt mainly white has two stripes on the body forming a mountain-like detail. The upper stripe is blue and the lower stripe is green. It has a simple white round collar, with the Nike logo in blue on the top right part of the chest and the Slovenian FA badge on the opposite side complemented by white shorts and white socks. The collar is a white crew-neck and the Nike Swoosh is light blue.
Slovenia Away Kits
The shirt is similar to the new home kits in design, mainly light blue with a white and green pattern on the front part of the chest. It has a round collar with the Nike logo on the top right part of the chest and the Slovenian FA badge on the opposite side. The player number is just beneath the pattern, on the front center part of the shirt, featuring printed white and green zig zag detail across the mid, Zig-zag strip representative of Slovenia's highest peak Mount Triglav.
