The successful 1982 World Cup qualifying campaign kits made in France by Adidas ventex. These pinstripes design was worn up until the 1982 World Cup finals when the inset neck was then removed. The home design as seen was worn on mid 1982 season but the away kits was used earlier.
It was a classic Adidas trefoil ventex in style, a simple wing-collar and a white/red/blue three-stripe design both featured on this France strip. As usual the stripes color follow the national insignia.

Away kits worn on two match, against England June 16 and Kuwait June 21, 1982, both Group 4 first round match.
