Another part Malaysia national team classic kits. The 1986 kits. The shirt featured the first traditional usage of stripes for Malaysia national kits since Adidas take over. The plain and simple v-neck collar, it was worn with either the black or yellow shorts of home kits. What so unique about these kits, the away shirts exactly mirrored the style of the home strip but in green, the first ever Malaysia national team kits in green. These away kits also worn by the Malaysia Tigers, the national youth team.
The home strip I'm draw based on the ASIAN games 1986 qualifying games. Malaysia on Group C, play along Saudi Arabia, Indonesia and Qatar but not progress any further. For note, after these tournament, the home stripe kits was rarely worn except the away kits that been seen to used till 1989 season.
Credit to all my FB friends who tag and always supported for these classic Malaysia sources.

I remember seeing this photo when i was a kid and liking the kit because it looked the same as my favourite sweets at the time called pasters, which were white and green stripey.
