Updated:Seattle Sounders kits 2009-10

American Major League Soccer club (MLS), Seattle Sounders FC is based in Seattle, Washington. Seattle Sounders FC was announced as the team name on April 7, 2008, along with the team logo, colors and badge design in a presentation held at the Space Needle. Seattle Sounders FC home is the 67,000 seat Qwest Field in Seattle, also home to the Seattle Seahawks. Starting with the 2009 season, Seattle Sounders FC under the head coach Sigi Schmid.

Team ownership revealed the first Seattle Sounders FC jersey on May 28, and announced Microsoft and Xbox 360 as the team's sponsor in a 5 year deal worth $20 million. As part of the
agreement, the Xbox 360 and Xbox Live brands are featured prominently on the front of the jersey and throughout the stadium.



Seattle Sounders official team colors are Sounder Blue, representing the waters of the Puget Sound; Rave Green, representing the forests of the Pacific Northwest; and Cascade Shale, representing the Cascade Range to the east of Seattle.

Seattle Sounders FC shirt will be primarily green, which is the traditional colour for sporting teams in Seattle, with a secondary colour of blue running down the sides of the shirt and underneath the collar. The Seattle sounders jerseys logo is on the left of the shirt and the makers, Adidas, have their logo on the top centre, underneath the collar, and the adidas three stripes running down both sleeves in white. The sponsor, Xbox 360 Live, is written across the middle of the shirt in white.
