Valencia Club de Fútbol is a club based in Valencia, Spain. Valencia CF founded in 1919 and have played their home games at the 55,000-seater Estadio Mestalla since 1923. 2008-2009 will officially be the last season at the Mestalla, Valencia will then move to their new 75,000-seater in the north-west of the city, stadium Nou Mestalla in time for the 2009-2010 season
Valencia CF have won six La Liga titles, seven Copa del Rey trophies, one UEFA Cup, two Fairs Cups, one UEFA Cup Winners' Cup, two UEFA Super Cups and two Spanish Super Cups. They have also reached two UEFA Champions League finals in a row 2000 and 2001. Valencia are also members of the G-14 group of leading European football clubs.
Spainish Unai Emery was announced as the new manager of Valencia CF on 22 May 2008 to lead players such David Albelda, David Villa, Ruben Baraja, Fernando Morientes, Miguel Ángel Angulo, Asier del Horno, Vicente, Iván Helguera, Joaquín, David Silva, Edu, Miguel, Hugo Viana and keeper Timo Hildebrand to make impact 2008-09 campaign.
Valencia football kits designed by nike. The Home football shirt is primarily white with orange piping designs running down from the collar sideways. Nike logo is on the top right of the chest with the club logo being placed on the on the opposite left. Club sponsor Valencia Experience have its logo placed beneath, in the center of the shirt and Compac at the back. The shirt is complemented with black shorts and white socks.
