FIFA U-17 World Cup Brasil 2019 Emblem

The 2019 FIFA U-17 World Cup is the 18th edition of the FIFA U-17 World Cup, It is hosted by Brazil between 26 October and 17 November 2019 to the inland cities of Goiania and Brasilia, as well as Cariacica on the outskirts of the coastal city of Vitoria, giving these areas a chance to host a global soccer tournament.

The FIFA U-17 World Cup Brasil 2019 emblem was unveiled on 11 July 2019 ahead of the official draw.

Inspiration:
The emblem takes its inspiration from the country's rich history and diverse landscapes, with a variety of distinctive elements coming together to form the shape of the tournament trophy. The base evokes the lush green of Brazil's natural scenery. Sweeping vegetation leads the viewer's eye past the intense reds of the Brazilian soil.



The yellowy orange of the country's world-famous gemstones towards a celebratory figure. That figure, in turn, reaches towards a ball. The design of the ball is inspired by the curved columns Cathedral of Brasília, a masterpiece by renowned Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer.
