In 1982, Topper officially sponsored the Pahang team including the jerseys. Surprisingly when the truth was found out, based on fact and evidence, in reality on that year, Pahang worn a Schwarzenbach brand jersey with the sewn Topper logo on the chest of the jersey. On the label tag, it was a Schwarzenbach jersey, but on the chest of the jersey, it was sewn with a Topper logo.
