Major League Soccer club, Club Deportivo Chivas USA 0r Chivas USA is located in based in the Los Angeles suburb of Carson, California. The team is owned by the same owner as Mexican club Club Deportivo Guadalajara, the Mexican entrepreneur (and film producer) Jorge Vergara Madrigal. These two teams share the same traditional colours, that is, gold, blue, red and white. Chivas USA, founded in 2004, plays its home games at The Home Depot Center, sharing it with arch-rivals the Los Angeles Galaxy. The multi-purpose stadium located on the campus of California State University, Dominguez Hills in Carson, California with 27,000 seat main stadium was designed specifically for soccer. Preki is a former Yugoslavian-American soccer player. He is currently the head coach of Chivas USA.
For the 2008/09 MLS season, Chivas USA strip will again be made by Adidas, and are sponsored by Mexican paint company Comex since May 16, 2007. The makers, Adidas is Navy blue and appears just below the navy blue collar. The Chivas badge appears on the left side, while the club sponsor' (Comex) logo appears in the centre. On the home kit, the sleeves are red accompanied by the white adidas three stripes running down each sleeves. Also features, embroidery on the back of the neck of home jerseys will bear the "CHIVAS USA" word mark. The only difference between the 2008 and 2009 home kit, as can be observed from the picture, An embroidered MLS logo on the right sleeve without the USA flag patch on the left
