Italy kits World Cup 1998 France

The kit has no. 10 indicating it was the kit of forward Alessandro Del Piero, who at the time untill now played with Juventus. Italy did not progress beyond the group stage at the finals of Euro 96. Gianfranco Zola failed to convert a decisive penalty against Germany, who eventually won the tournament. With two goals scored in this tournament, Roberto Baggio is still the only Italian player to have scored in three different FIFA World Cup editions.
The away kit made one appearance only for the tournament, match against Chile, 11th June their first match with the score 2-2 by their ace Christian Vieri and Roberto Bagio.
