Around 2000–2001, One2One became the official sponsor of the F.A. Charity Shield. One2One was a UK mobile phone network launched in the mid-1990s, later acquired by T-Mobile. These patch would have been used in the 2001 F.A. Charity Shield, which was historically important reasons:

1. It was the first competitive match played at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, since Wembley Stadium was being rebuilt. The match featured: Manchester United (Premier League champions) against Liverpool (FA Cup winners). Liverpool won 2-1, with goals from Gary McAllister and Michael Owen.
