World Cup 86 historic moments "Hand of God"

Yesterday I spend few hours to watch World Cup 86, Mexico match between Argentina v England, played on 22 June 1986. What i see these two team match is remembered as one of the most epic in FIFA World Cup history. Lot's of accident, drama and of course' the trademark by Diego Maradona, the game he claimed the goal was scored "A bit with the head of Maradona and another bit with the hand of God"; it was known as the "The Hand of God" goal. Diego Maradona also make historic in these match with two most famous goals in football history. His first, after fifty one minutes, was the Hand of God goal in which Maradona scored illegally, as he punched the ball into the goal past England goalkeeper Peter Shilton. The referee Ali bin Naseer from Tunisia did not see the foul and the goal was given as valid. Maradona second, saw him
dribble past six England players and was voted in 2002 as the Goal of the Century.
If you have any facts got to share with these match, add the comment.

Northen Ireland 1986 World Cup football shirt

The ilustrate kits below has the no.7 on the rear indicating it was the kits of forward player Steve Penney, who at the time played with Brighton (England).

Northern Ireland's best World Cup performance was in their first appearance in the competition, the 1958 World Cup, where they reached the quarter-finals after beating Czechoslovakia 2-1 in the play-off. They were knocked out by France, losing 4-0. In the 1958 competition Northern Ireland became the smallest country to have qualified for the World Cup, a record that stood until Trinidad & Tobago qualified for the 2006 World Cup. Northern Ireland remains, however, the smallest country to have qualified for more than one World Cup, and the smallest country to have reached the World Cup quarter-finals.

Hungary World Cup 1986 shirt/kits

FIFA 1986 World Cup is seen by many fans as the final confirmation of Hungary's decline. Expectations were very high, but poor performances in defeats to the Soviet Union and France were a bitter blow, despite the presence of talent like Lajos Détåri. Since then, Hungary has continued to produce fine individual talent- notably Béla Illés and Krisztiån Lisztes - but further success as a team has eluded them.
