FC Porto 2024-25 Third Kit

Designed by New Balance, FC Porto third kit for the 2024/25 season takes inspiration from the modern architecture of Porto, featuring deep, dark shades of tectonic and navy blue with a pattern of angular abstract lines and diamonds, creating a dazzling camouflage effect representation of the Dragon's skin. Symbolising the mythical creature closely associated with FC Porto’s passionate supporters and the city of Porto.

The badge and branding feature a vibrant bayside sky blue, providing a contrast to the darker tones. The same color also appears on the collar and side panels. The general director of New Balance, Kenny McCallum also commented on this creation: “FC Porto's third kit for this new season reflects the power of the Dragão, whose influence on design distinguishes FC Porto's effusive and loyal fans.”

FC Porto 130th Anniversary Logo

September 28th, 2023 marks the anniversary of Futebol Clube do Porto (FC Porto) In total, it has 130 years of history, of an institution highly representative of Invicta and which has accumulated, over the years, countless trophies that make the Porto community and a large “slice” of the city’s inhabitants proud.

The year was 1893, when the blue and white emblem was born. It is worth remembering that, at the time, at the end of the 19th century, the Diário Ilustrado had announced that "A club called Football Club do Porto was founded in Porto, which fills the gap that existed in the north of the country for an association for players of that specialty", The main ambassador of Porto's genesis was António Nicolau d'Almeida, who was a young Port wine merchant, another of the great symbols of the city that, as the club's anthem says, "in history, gave its name to Portugal.

FC Porto 2003-04 Home & Away Kits

The graphic iconic FC Porto 2003-04 Home and Away kits worked project by my friend Joaquim Gaspar.

With this Nike shirt FC Porto club ended the Primeira Liga campaign 8 points ahead of fierce rivals Benfica, a crowd pleasing accomplishment any time it happnes, as well as winning the Superta a C ndido de Oliveira, a lesser trophy but still a success for the club.

FC Porto capping off the year's end with a narrow loss to AC Milan, arguably the world's greatest side at that time.

For the Home shirts, the numbers on the back were bright red and very visible as Porto often has, the swoosh on the front has seen variations of either red or navy depending on which version of the shirt was used. This is because Nike issued a Champions League edition to accompany the league and cup edition which was in-keeping with UEFA regulations and the host of sponsorships Porto had, their shirt was often a billboard, the main sponsor on the front of the shirt would alternate between PT and Revigres.
