Haiti World Cup 1974 Kits

Guided under Antoine Tassy, in West Germany World Cup 74 tournament, they be drawn in an extremely tough group with Italy, Argentina and Poland.

However, they surprised the football world in their debut game when star forward Emmanuel Sanon scored to give Haiti a lead over Italy, at the same time ending Dino Zoff's still standing record run of 1142 minutes without conceding a goal in international matches. They eventually lost 1-3, and would lose to Poland (0-7) and Argentina (1-4), but their brave display against Italy is forgotten by few.

Brazil World Cup 1974 home kits

Reputation as 1970 World Cup holders, Brazil started the first round in Group 2 without key 1970 players like Pele who had retired from international football and other stars. Still, with Jairzinho and Rivelino could be expected to make a decent stab at World Cup glory, especially with 1970 coach Mário Zagallo still in charge. The group was decided by how many goals could Brazil, Yugoslavia and Scotland score to defeat Zaire. Every other game played in the group was drawn so the three top teams finished with four points each.
Brazil started the group stage with two consecutive 0-0 draws vs Yugoslavia and then Scotland, and only scraped through in second place after a 3-0 win over Zaire gave them a goal difference one better than Scotland. In the Second Round group stage, Brazil beat East Germany 1-0 and then satisfying 2-1 win over Argentina. But then in the final group game, which was in effect a World Cup semi-final, Zagallo’s Brazil faced the Total Football of 1974’s surprise team, the Netherlands: Brazil lost 2-0. Brazil went on to lose the third place playoff game 1-0 to Poland.

Same as World Cup 1970 kits, only inside label different, the Brazil still with the Brazilian made sportswear Athleta. Without any maker logo is placed on the shirt with the CBF crest additional 3 stars on the top left part of the chest. The shirts was worn with the previous World Cup 70 blue shorts with white trim detailed and white away shorts.

Zaire World Cup 74 kits

Now the nation Congo DR national football team, formerly the Zaire national football team and well-known with nicknamed The Leopards.

Zaire were the first black African team to participate in a FIFA World Cup. At the 1974 FIFA World Cup Zaire were very disappointing. The team did not win a game or score any goals. Their 9–0 defeat against Yugoslavia still remains a World Cup record defeat. The team also popular with the funny moments when facing a free-kick 25 yards out during the 1974 World Cup finals match against Brazil, defender Mwepu Ilunga, upon hearing the referee blow his whistle, ran out of the Zaire wall and kicked the ball upfield, for which he received a yellow card. However, Ilunga has claimed that he was quite aware of the rules and was hoping to convince the referee to send him off.

The Zaire Adidas home strip of yellow shirts, green shorts and yellow socks, plus the reverse colour-scheme for the away strip, were vivid enough. What make the kits so popular the big circular logos emblazoned all over the shirts. The word 'Leopards' could be seen inside the circle pertaining to the team's nickname and 'Zaire' was shown beneath it.

Zaire also worn two style design on away kits, the alternative strip match against Yugoslavia same design as the home kits.

Chile WC74 team kits

Guided by coach Luis Alamos, Chile qualified for the 1974 World Cup after a controversial play-off with the USSR. Following a drawn first leg in Moscow, the Soviets refused to play the second leg at the Estadio Nacional in Santiago, which had been used as a concentration camp by the military dictatorship of Pinochet.
However, FIFA refused to switch the match to a neutral venue, so the Chilean players kicked off on an otherwise empty pitch, and scored into the unguarded USSR net, and because there was no opposition to restart the game, the referee awarded the match to Chile, ensuring they qualified for the 1974 finals.

Played in Group A at the 1974 World Cup, Chile lost their opening game 1–0 to the host, West Germany in Berlin. Striker Carlos Caszely was sent off in the second half, thus becoming the first player awarded a red card in the tournament's history since the cards went into use. Under the guard Elias Figuero (Chilean
hero player) the team fought out a 1–1 draw with East Germany, again in Berlin. Martin Hoffmann put East Germany ahead, but Sergio Ahumada equalised with 20 minutes left. Finally, they played out a goalless draw against Australia, which eliminated both teams.
