The kick off was made by retired footballer József Bozsik "Cucu", a key member of the Hungarian 1950s Golden Team/Mighty Magyars, who went on to win 101 international caps and score 11 goals in his career.

The 2026 FIFA World Cup logo it's definitely the most modern approach have've seen so far. Traditionally, the World Cup logo has been designed to reflect the culture of the host nation(s) in some way, but that is not the case here, removing any hint of the hosts' culture or national identity.
The official emblem and brand identity was unveiled on May 17, 2023, at the Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles, California; its basic form consists of a stacked "26" with an image of the FIFA World Cup Trophy in front of it, but it is designed to be adaptable to different backdrops.
