USA WC 2010 team kits

The FIFA World Cup 2010 United States were drawn into Group C alongside England, Algeria and USA. Only England and the United States had previously met at a World Cup: in 1950, After tying matches against England (1–1) and Slovenia (2–2), USA beat Algeria through an injury time goal and thus won Group C, the first
time that the USA has won its World Cup group since 1930. As group winners, the United States advanced to face Group D runners-up, Ghana, and lost 2-1 make USA was eliminated from the tournament.

The brand new United States football jersey has a great design with a diagonal stripe adorning the front. The diagonal stripe is an important feature, as it references the US National Team Jersey of the 1950 World Cup team. On the back of the Shirt's neck is a graphic that reads 'USA', while inside the neck is a graphic of a coiled rattlesnake.

Slovenia WC 2010 team badge

Another significant detail of Slovenian jerseys is a weaved-in signature on the inner surface of the FA logo - right across the players’ heart is a message that only the players see when they pull the shirt over their head. It reads "SRCE BIJE ZA SLOVENIJO" (Heart beats for Slovenia).

The bold and edgy font face symbolizes the bold and edgy peaks of Slovenia's highest mountains and has been designed by Slovenia based graphic studio Gregor Zakelj, to inspire national culture and identity within the Slovenian players and fans.

Slovenia WC 2010 team kits

Entered the tournament for the first time at 2002 World Cup, the FIFA World Cup 2010 Slovenia were drawn into Group C alongside England, Algeria and USA. Slovenia won their opening game against Algeria in Peter Mokaba Stadium, Polokwane 1–0. In their second game against the United States, Slovenia were drew 2–2 and in their last match in the preliminary round, Slovenia lost to England 0–1 by a goal from Jermain Defoe. Because the United States beat Algeria with the only goal scored in the 92nd minute of the match, the Slovenian team was eliminated.

Nike and Slovenia have been partners for more than three years, for the 2010 FIFA World Cup would see the return of Triglav silhouette on the chest impression with its zig-zag stripe of Slovenian jerseys appear at 2002 World Cup. Representative of Slovenia's highest peak Mount Triglav, appears in green over the chest. Together with the depiction of the national symbol, the green colour symbolizes the nature and green forests. The shirt is a short sleeved design with a v-shaped neckline and is made from 100% polyester using Nike's unique Dri-Fit fabric technology. Both, home and away jersey, have the word "Slovenija" on the outer side of the collar.
The number and player's name on the back of the jersey are made from a special porous material, which makes the jersey even more airy and light. But the biggest difference from the previous jerseys now is Nike's awareness for the nature, as the jersey itself is an ecological innovation, made our of recycled polyester. Each jersey is therefore made out of approximately eight plastic bottles, and designed in a way that it offers airiness and the biggest possible comfort, putting its part into a mosaic of a good performance the players in Nike's jerseys put in for Slovenian team.

The Slovenian away kits was worn for just one match in whole tournament against ALGERIA at the Peter Mokaba Stadium, Polokwane. First Round, 13 June, 2010.

World Cup 2010, South Africa patch

South Africa was selected as host the 2010 FIFA World Cup is the 19th FIFA World Cup, in 15 May 2004, beating Morocco and Egypt in a bidding process open only to African nations. Africa was chosen as the host for the 2010 World Cup as part of a short-lived policy, to rotate the event among football confederations.

Five African nations placed bids to host the 2010 World Cup: Egypt, Morocco, South Africa and a joint bid from Libya and Tunisia. The finals tournament sees 736 players representing 32 teams compete for the World Cup trophy in games held in ten stadiums across South Africa.

Here the 2010 FIFA World Cup graphic ilustrations emblem/logo that patch on the right sleeve during the final and qualifiers tournaments. The official logo identity is unique, vibrant and dynamic, graphically encapsulating the African continent while more intimately dipping into South Africa's rich and colourful heritage for inspiration. The graphic figure strikes a resemblance to the earliest rock art paintings for which south Africa famous. This figure is caught in mid-action performing a bicycle kick - a style of play that captures the flair of African football. The figure is lucid, energetic and indirectly illustrates an inherent passion for the beautiful game. It is kicking a football upwards - an invitation from Africa to other nations of the world to join the game and the actual ball is a modern representation of a football, suggesting that it belongs to FIFA. And for the first time ever, this ball that has traveled across the globe will touch African soil. The colourful backdrop behind the figure represents the South African national flag. The ‘swishes' extend upwards, from south to north, reaching out to the world. They embody the energy, diversity and fiery passion of our country, and they symbolise the rise of the rainbow nation. Feature typeface is an original creation that reflects personality and reinforces the idea that in South Africa we do things uniquely. It is playful, naïve and free-spirited. It is also bold, welcoming and friendly.
