The ten-man Paris Saint-Germain beat first time finalist, Lille 2-1 in the French League Cup final at the Stade de France on April 23, 2016. To celebrate a historic final, both Paris Saint-Germain and Lille LOSC donned spectacular, gold numbers in these final match. The gold numbers worn by both team are based on the official font used in Ligue 1. In addition, as it is customary in the Coupe de la Ligue, PSG's and Lille's jerseys were adjusted to add cup-specific sponsor logos.
