Reigning German Bundesliga champions Borussia Dortmund have launched a special edition Kappa 2011/12 Derby kit for its November 26th meeting with Ruhr rivals FC Schalke 04. Known as Revierderbys, matches between the clubs date back to 1925 and are amongst the most anticipated Bundesliga of any given season due to their intensity and the longstanding fierce rivalry between the two clubs. The shirt is in honor to the club’s stadium, Signal Iduna Park with its
unique atmosphere. Wears the yellow jersey at breast height, the stylized silhouette of the Signal Iduna Park, which black to yellow in a course of proceeding to the bottom hem up. The jersey with V-neck wearing a "BVB" stick in the neck and two big KAPPA logos at the shoulders and inner the neck rounding out this design are discreet “Echte Liebe” (True Love) text and BVB logo with the Dortmund-print on the back. Black statements on the sleeves and hem complete the design. The Derby has two large black jersey Kappa logos on the shoulders, a Kappa logo on the right and the BVB stick with a star emblem on the left chest.

Short/Sock
The short in yellow with a large KAPPA logo is on the sides, a BVB emblem is affixed to the right, and a Kappa logo on the left pant leg. The sock in the yellow background with black sole and black collar with stripe course. On the front is a BVB lettering and affixed to the back of the Kappa logo.
