Holland WC2010 team kits

The FIFA World Cup 2010 Netherlands were drawn into Group E alongside Denmark, Cameroon and Japan. The Dutch team went on to secure a 100 percent record in their World Cup 2010 qualification campaign, winning all eight games and becoming the first European team to qualify for the World Cup. Netherlands won 2–0 against Denmark in their opener at the World Cup. On June 19th, the Dutch beat Japan 1–0 and at the end it was 2–1 victory after Slovakia. The Dutch advanced to the semifinals with a 2-1 victory over the favoured Brazilians. Semi-final the Dutch beat Uruguay 3–2 to advance to their first World Cup final since 1978, then Holland lost the final to Spain with a score of 1–0 after extra time.

The new Netherlands away Nike shirt has a white base colour, with a white chevron on the chest, flanked by a red edge at the top and a blue edge at the bottom, making it look like the flag of the country. The team badge is on the left of the chest and the makers Nike trademark Swoosh logo has a blue colour and sits on the right side of the chest when worn, on the white chevron. On the back of the Shirt's neck is a graphic that reads 'NEDERLAND' and blue player printing. The shirt will be worn with blue shorts and white socks.
