This red French away shirt follows a similar template as the recently released new home shirt for 2008, although the patterning across the shirt is flipped horizontally. The French football federation badge is on the left chest with a gold star above it for the nations home world cup win in 1998, the adidas logo is in white just beneath the collar and the players numbers will appear on the right chest. The three stripes over the shoulders are in French red, white & blue.
An all-red kit with no signs of the red and white, except as stripes on the sleeves, is not typical of the French national team. However, this change will not affect the style of play of the team, it won’t affect the team, and neither will it stop the Frenchmen from supporting their national team and buying the shirts for the Euro 2008 campaign.
French red away kits, however made no appearance at the UEFA EURO 2008, France wore all blue strip in all the match.
