Two special kits from AZ Alkmaar for 2007-08, first home kits in the domestic league for just one match only against Ajax Amsterdam on September 23, however they lost 2-3 on that match. The shirts are sale now for auction. The money goes to muscles for muscles (spieren voor spieren). A Dutch welfare organistation. Coach Louis van Gaal and his wife are ambassors of this organistation and the selling house company, Jaap.nl is just a sponsor.
The club manager is Louis van Gaal, who succeeded Co Adriaanse after the 2004-05 season. In April 2007 Louis van Gaal signed an extension of his contract to 2010, which included clauses related to possible jobs as a national coach in future.

The other kits, for European tournament UEFA Cup, after they become succesful as finalist in 1980-81 season after been defeated by Ipswich Town from England 4-5 on aggregate and get through into semifinalist in 2005.

Really special away kits for UEFA Cup tournaments, the whole white uniform was worn for the first time when match AZ Alkmaar play FC Pacos de Ferreira in the Estadio do Beesa in Porto, Portugal, on September 20, 2007 and they win 0-1.

PFC CSKA Moscow 2007-08

PFC CSKA Moscow or Professional Football Club - Central Sports Club of Army (Moscow) is the football section of the CSKA sports club of Moscow, Russia
It won the Soviet championship seven times (1946, 1947, 1948, 1950, 1951, 1970, 1991), the Soviet Cup five times (1945, 1948, 1951, 1955, 1991), the Russian Cup in 2002, 2005, and 2006, won the Russian Premier League champions title in 2003, 2005 and 2006, finishing second in 1998, 2002 and 2004, and the Russian Super Cup in 2004, 2006 and 2007.
Recently, the club received a major financial infusion from a sponsorship deal with Sibneft, an oil company owned by Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich. Abramovich will not take an ownership interest in the club as he is the current owner of English Premiership power Chelsea and UEFA rules allow only one club controlled by any one entity (person or corporation) to participate in European club competition in a given season.

Since season 2006 the club is sponsored by VTB. Originally CSKA was nicknamed "Stables" presumably because their first training facilities were located in the building that previously was Prince Yusupov's stable. It was considered offensive, but later it was transformed into its consonant "Horses", and currently this nick used by players and fans as self-name, along with other variants such as "Army Men" and "Red-Blues".
CSKA Moscow part of Group G stage UEFA Champions League 2007-08 with Inter, PSV and Fenerbahce.

S.B.V. Excelsior 2006/08 Eridivisie League

SBV Excelsior is a professional football club from Rotterdam, in the Kralingen-Crooswijk district. It was founded on July 23, 1902 and was formerly known as 'Rotterdamse Voetbal en Atletiek Vereniging Excelsior' (Rotterdam Football and Athletics Union Excelsior). The club plays in the top Dutch league, Eredivisie.
Excelsior used to be a satellite club of Feyenoord, where Excelsior received money and players (either on loan or free transfer) from Feyenoord. That system ended in 2006. Now there is just a little co-operation in the youth level. Excelsior's home stadium is the Stadion Woudestein, which has a capacity of about 3,527, the smallest stadium in the Netherlands.

Same sponsor and kits as 2006-07 season, the different for home kits from last season are the black sock however red sock are use for 2007-08 home kits. Away kits still the same as last season.

In the final tournament, Italy found themselves in another critical shootout for the third World Cup in a row.
